Donna is my hygienist. Always a smile on her face and we have great conversations while she cleans my teeth. She’s the best. Dr Joon Kim checked my teeth and last X-rays and I will be back in August. Both Dr Kim and Dr Joon are very friendly and are excellent dentists. I’m very happy. I’ve been coming to this dental office for over 40 years and loved Dr Shannon Haynes. She picked great dentists to succeed her.

Ann cleaned my teeth and gave input and feedback for healthy teeth and gums. She is gentle and thorough. The experience was relaxed, fun, and pampered. ************ This was also the first appointment after Joon Kim installed two previous crowns. New Insurance coverage only $20% then because this office is not in network. But the previous dentist V Shannon Haynes was exceptional and Joon Kim trained in the same program. Joon Kim’s work was focused, patient, thorough, and caring. He helps prioritize future work needed and explains it clearly and concisely. Then a plan that is timely for need and financially comfortable is met. ************** This dentist couple give quality care that is worth paying out of network. They are full service and have great support staff. Consider this as your one stop dental office for the family. Experience the excellence yourself and have no regrets.

Staff always be eye gentle with me and consider my phobia of dentist appointments. I travel quite a distance just to come to Walnut Woods because they take such great care of me.

Dr Kim and her staff were timely and friendly and professional. Dr Kim’s exam was thorough and gentle. And she even remembered personal details about me and asked about them- that was really nice! The dental hygienist was excellent too! The appointment and confirmation reminders by text are convenient! I feel that I am in good hands with Dr Kim and her staff.

Oh so fast! Very thorough, painless, and kind. I had a mini emergency, was seen within three hours, fixed and out the door. I've been a long time patient of the prior practice, and very satisfied with the transition to Walnut Woods.

Dr Kim was very efficient and did an excellent job in replacing a crown. My temp crown fell off over the weekend and Dr Kim responded to my text right away. Fortunately my permanent crown came in a few days later so there wasn’t any issue. I highly recommend!!

He is young but confident in his capabilities. I have grown to trust his judgement. He takes the time to explain what must be done to preserve my teeth. Unlike his predecessor who referred out removals and replacements he does them himself. We have discussed this and I am confident that his training has prepared him to judge when a referral is appropriate. As a result he has performed some complex procedures for me and I am satisfied with the results thus far in our relationship.

Personable, talks you thru the procedure as nec, is efficient, and a good fit w/ the crown he just put in; is not heavy handed as some other DDS’s I have had many, many years ago.

I’ve been a patient of Ginny’s for over 20 years and this was my first SL time seeing Donna. She is patient, thorough @ personable. I will miss Ginny but I feel that I’m in good hands with Donna. Dr. Kim was great as always. He explained the panoramic xray & continues to keep an eye on a tooth that may cause me some problems. I’m very pleased with the service.

I lost an old crown unexpectedly and called Dr. Kim's office. An hour later I walked out of her office with my temporary. Every person in the office was helpful, kind and proactive about getting me the help I needed. My new crown fits comfortably and I don't even know it's there. How nice it is to be able to relax in a dentist's office.

Absolutely the best dental experience ever; and I had the most amazing dentist for 25 years in SF, I never thought any practice could be better but the hygienist and the dentist have been, the best most professional experience I’ve ever had.

After two routine checkups and cleanings as well as two visits to crown a wisdom tooth I am pleased in recommending Dr Kim’s practice. It was a comfortable experience for many reasons , mostly because of her pleasant manner, her gentle skillful work , and the trust that I felt early on an only grew. After nearly 40 years with the same trusted practitioner who has retired I feel fortunate to have fallen into Dr Kim,s young and agile hands.

Dr. Ashley Kim is amazing! She makes the whole experience awesome and puts me at ease. This is HUGE for me because I had a bad experience with the dentist as a child. The office is really flexible with scheduling visits and letting me know the limitations with my insurance. All of her the staff are so kind and helpful. My days of dreading going to the dentist are over.

Most amazing dental practice!!! You come out of here feeling so valued and cared for. No one loves going to the dentist but with the cheerful atmosphere and the fact that so many of the people who work here are so incredibly warm and kind it makes it such a pleasant experience. The regular front desk gal is so sweet and welcoming. I always request my fav dental hygienist Anne, she is so wonderful that it feels like you are getting to visit with an old friend vs getting your teeth cleaned. And I cannot say enough good things about the two dentists Dr Ashley and her husband. I have been seen by both and they are both top notch. Just the warmest most compassionate people they make you feel so at ease. In a world where the medical field is sorely declining from a customer service/ patient experience standpoint Walnut Woods Dental is a bastion of light in the darkness. You are actually treated like a human here vs just another set of teeth. I also bring my two young daughters here (7 and 5) and they actually love coming they get so excited for their appointments they happily go in for their exam without even needing me to sit with them so I get a few moments of "me" time in the comfy lobby reading the many magazines they have. When your whole family actually enjoys the entire dental experience you know you have found the unicorn of a practice. I just hope they don't get too popular and it becomes impossible to schedule because so far I can always get in easily. So thankful to have this incredible dentist office right in my backyard.

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kim and her associates. Has been a very smooth transition from Dr. Haynes and their service and work is top notch. Just had a tooth removed yesterday and it was flawless even though it was a very tough tooth to remove very good experience.
